Cagework Flower Wreath Brooch Pin with Heliotrope Swarovski Crystal Margarita Flower Bead

Glorious flowers of all sizes and shapes cascade around this incredible cagework flower and leaf wreath brooch pin.   Cageworking is the process of hand-wiring beads and crystals to a perforated metal finding, made popular originally by celebrity jewelry designers of the 1940's, 1950's and 1960's including Miriam Haskell, Stanley Hagler, Originals by Robert and Eugene.  Ian St. Gielar and Mark Mercy, former designers for Stanley Hagler, have created a new wave of popularity for these intricate designs that require many hours of exacting, detail work. 

Every bead and leaf is hand-wired individually onto a perforated metal circle, which is backed with a solid cast metal circle pin finding. Czech bell flowers and vintage Swarovski crystal margarita flower beads in Heliotrope and Bermuda Blue create a sparkling focal point and accents. Flowers are anchored with tiny 14K gold-filled beads and rose montee crystals.
